There are a few things in this life that can keep you young. The things that make you forget about that bad foot and want to see the world as you once did.
Memories – Memory is a way of holding onto things you love, the things you are and the things you never want to lose. What I always found to be rather true is the words of Edward Le Bon, “A memory is what is left when something happens and does not completely un-happen.” A good life is one that has memories that are beautiful enough to be content with.
Children – These are the living messages we send to time, which we may not see. It is like planting a seed, not knowing that 50 years from now a large tree will offer so many others shade. An investment in the future is never a waste of time.
Doing something for the greater good – When I look at my own grand parents I see what keeps them young. It is that they don’t have any time to get old. They run a non profit organisation and work at the blood bank as well.
Try one or a combination of these and the wrinkles should stay at bay.
Age today, is just a number. I admire and respect your grandparends for their obvious energy and drive. We should all aspire to grow old/mature gracefully - but most imprtantly remain young at heart.ds for their obvious energy and drive.
